The American Festival Chorus auditions at the beginning of each USU semester.  Audition schedules will be posted below, near the start of each session.

  • Concert Attire: $180-250 (one-time)

Audition Requirements

Please come prepared with a completed audition form. You should also be prepared to sing a song that best showcases your voice. One verse of a hymn or folk song is appropriate. An accompanist will be available for the audition.

You will also be asked to complete a sight-singing exercise consisting of approximately four to five measures of music. This exercise will demonstrate your ability to read music and accurately pick up the rhythm.
