In commemoration of Good Friday, we present this masterpiece of classical sacred music.  St. John Passion is considered by many to be the most beautiful of J.S. Bach’s Passion oratorios, which remain unparalleled in their dramatic impact and dynamic emotional effects.  In this oratorio, John’s account of the crucifixion is related by an Evangelist, solo singers, and chorales using Biblical passages and poetry.
